"Another collection of note was that of Birmingham’s Rachel Cogley who looks on course to be a welcome addition to the House of Holland/Giles/Jeremy Scott crew of cheeky high-jinx. She showed a humorous shaggy Afghan hound dog bag."

Fashion For Lunch

"Rachel Cogley of Birmingham City designed some innovative jackets too. The last look is particularly memorable – it tends to spark that question of the extent to which most runway looks are genuinely wearable but hey, the abundance of hair just looks so awesome!"

The Coterie News

"The graduate with a BA in Fashion won over the judges with her inventive clutch bag that judge Emma Hill, creative director at Mulberry, described at the awards ceremony as a must-have!
We loved… the pooch purse from Birmingham City University’s Rachel Cogley"

NXG Magazine

"Other more flamboyant graduates from the gala included Birmingham City graduate Rachel Cogley, whose collection was, hair-raising to say the least. Rachel's collection focused on fur, feathers and masses of acrylic hair. She managed to create a surreal experience for the spectators as her models sauntered down the catwalk to Cat Stevens' I Love My Dog. It's a good thing Lydia left Mr Darcy at home, otherwise he may have been stuffed, stitched and made into a handbag before you could say “Shut-up!”

Patrick Grant's reviews on Vogue.com

"Rachel Cogley's 'insane Afghan hound, brilliant idea of poking fun at the stupidity of people trying to make themselves look attractive - with their fake tan - but just looking foolish' collection that stood out."
